Summer in full SWING!

Creating has been going on, but a lot of vacationing too. New experiences for some, and just plain fun for others --- movies, 3-D movies, laser tag, berry picking and putter golf! Oh, did I mention swimming and slip and sliding? Gotta love summer!

I'm Bored Jar

This was easy peasy -- thanks Skip to My Lou and Somewhat Simple! I used an old icing tub -- great because top was red -- covered with patterned paper, cut apart ideas (I did sort out the ones that are not an option for my kids) and viola! Done in about 20 minutes! Yeah! Get your pintables here.

baby sweater and hat

My daughter's teacher is having a baby in August and so I made her little one (a girl) a sweater and hat for fall. Fun, easy pattern from the Lion Brand site. Loved the buttons!
