Quick Easter Cards

Used strips of Making Memories paper, circle punch and pop dots. Font is from my computer (Pea Hannah Vanilla -- I think.) Cardstock is Stampin Up -- Barely Banana(?), and used a dot stamp with Barely Banana ink to add a little something to the top. Inside says "Happy Easter" -- also in the same font. These were super quick -- made 6 of them in about 40 minutes and only used 1 sheet of 12x12 patterned paper.

Why Digital Is Good

I have pictures in my family room of my kids --- 8x10s, black and white, that I took. Periodically I change them -- I just go through my photo files, find one I like, convert to b&w and frame. Recently I changed this photo:

Cropped and no longer a chain in the background. Gotta love digital!

"New" Lamp

My friend talked me into going to St. Vincent's last week on 1/2 price day --- how much fun! Found this nifty little lamp and with a little spray paint looks brand new! Still need some more things on that table -- amybe enven need to sit the lamp on a book or 2, but for $2.50, I think it looks pretty good!

Ordinary Magic

I have a thousand things I should be doing today, but spent time watching this on Beth Proudfoot's blog and need to remember it -- too much time doing lots of different things lately -- too many times saying "just a minute" or "hold on". This video is a good reminder. Don't know what the book would be like, but for now this video is just the kick in the pants that I needed.
